Safety & Tolerability
AGGRENOX is generally well tolerated, with bleeding rates comparable to aspirin. The most common adverse event is headache.10

†Bleeding was most commonly reported as epistaxis, “other” sites, proctorrhagia, melena, hematuria, hematemesis, and purpura, in descending order.
The most commonly reported adverse event is headache, occurring in 38.2% of patients on AGGRENOX, versus 32.4% for those on placebo. These headaches usually go away within a week after starting to take AGGRENOX. 10
